SNMP Trap alert correlation

Hi,

I am wondering if someone came across how to achieve the alert correlation for SNMP Traps that are seen in the Report/State History or Report/Notifications sections of the Nagios XI GUI. I am looking for aggregation of the SNMP Trap alerts that are received from a specific host as the alerts are received for the same type and for example one alert received for multiple occurrences of the same alert. This floods with e-mail notifications as well as State History. Any advice will be much appreciated about how to achieve this!

In XI, there is not a way to aggregate many email notifications in to one but I found this link that may work for you.

Take a look at it and see if it is what you are looking for.
It is for Nagios Core but is should work in XI as long as your server is setup to use Sendmail for it's mail method.
