How to properly delete a host without deleting the services

Hi All,
I came across a situation where I had to delete a host which has a monitoring service common to few other hosts as well.
Eg:
I have hosts A, B, C, D, E
Im monitoring disk space of each of above hosts.
Now I want to delete host B. But Nagios XI doesnt allow me to delete host B without deleting Disk monitoring service.
I cant delete the disk monitoring service since it is used by the other hosts.
In above scenario what is the best way to delete the host B ?
Thank you..!

If I'm understanding the setup correctly, the best way to remove Host B is to, from the Core Config Manager, change the "disk monitoring" service definition to exclude Host B and eliminate the dependency.
This documentation should get you on the right track:
https://support.nagios.com/kb/article.php?id=539
In a nutshell, edit the "disk monitoring" service in the Core Config Manager, click the "Manage Hosts" button, then remove Host B from that list.

Thanks for the guide
@mcapra. This method worked.
In addition to this can I disable the Disk Monitoring service for a while until I delete the hosts and then re-enable the service ..?
Will it work ? If it works, would it be another safe way of doing it ?

As long as the service has some hosts when you re-enable, it should work.
