Where to see all status messages of a particular service

Where should one see all the status messages of a service or a host in Nagios / NagiosXI.

When you login to the web UI, you can click on either of the following and it will show them all
Service Detail
Host Detail

Also, you can search by clicking on the spyglass in the top right and searching for the name you are looking for.

Thanks for your reply.

I am able to see the latest message for a service, host and hostgroup. Where can I see all the messages of the same. ie, for a service, i would have updated the status as OK with message1, CRITICAL with message2 and WARNING with mesage3 at different intervals of time.
The UI displays the latest message which is message3 with status as WARNING.

I am not able to find the setting or location from where will I be able to see the previous messages.

I need to see all the status messages of a particular host or service. ie, suppose that for a service, there is a status update as follows.
At time1, the status is updated as OK with message1.
At time2, the status is updated as OK with message2.
At time3, the status is updated as CRITICAL with message3. and so on..

The UI will display the latest status and message. Where can i find the previous status messages.

The previous messages are only in the event log for historical purposes.

There is no mechanism to update/change messages which would be akin to re-writing history.
