Nagios VS other monitoring tools

Good Afternoon,

Currently am doing POC on NagiosXI. Our organisation is ready to purchase but they asked for more Justification on why only Nagios, and its comparison with other tools. Please someone help me on this, I found Nagios Vs Zabbix comparison in knowledge base. it will help me a lot. are there any such sources to compare Nagios with other monitoring tools? if so please provide me some.

I can't speak directly to the other monitoring tools and getting the "right" tool for one's environment is dependent on so many things, I always push the free trial and, as @mcapra pointed out, the 1 hour quickstart can help you determine if Nagios will be able to meet your needs.
