XI sending SMS message via Multitech rCell

We have a Multitech Mutliconnect rCell model MTR-LAT1. We are able to send test text messages successfully from the router.

We installed the iSMS component on XI, enabled SMS on the multitech and attempted to send a test message. This does not work.

Question, is the iSMS component compatible with the newer Multitech Mutliconnect rCell model MTR-LAT1? Are we using the correct XI component?

Did you configure the iSMS component within XI?

From the top XI navbar click 'Admin', then click 'Manage Components' on the left menu under 'System Extensions'. Now click on the settings icon next to the iSMS component.

On the component settings page, make sure to set the following options:

• Check the Enable Integration option
• Supply the IP Address of the iSMS modem
• Ensure the HTTP Port matches the iSMS modem configuration (default port = 81)
• Supply the Username and Password to authenticate to the iSMS modem

Click the Apply Settings button to save your settings.

The component is not compatible with newer Multitech devices but we are currently working on updating it.

Do you have any idea when the new component will be available? I am considering trading in my new Multitech for an older model that works with the existing component. Thanks in advance for your input.

An eta isn't available but I plan to work on it this week an prepare it for QA testing.
