Different alerting threshold for days of the week.

Post by lukedevon »

Hi

Are we able to configure the alerting threshold differently for the 7 days of the week?

For example;

For the days of the week, each day should have its own hourly threshold.

Service : Xxxx ,

Sun: Warning 80%, Critical 85%
Mon: Warning 70%, Critical 75%

so on, ........

Please let me know if this requirement is feasible.

Thank you
Luke.

This would require 7 different checks - each one with its own threshold and configured to only run on their respective day.

Time periods are configured in the CCM under Configure > Core Config Manager > Alerting > Time Periods. These time periods can then be applied to hosts and services by editing them and setting the
Check period" drop down found on the "Check Settings" tab.
