The plugin gathers information via snmp which uses udp port 161 by default. Is the remote server up and listening on that port? Are there any firewall rules that may be dropping these packets?

It not working for us. We have download "Check Fortigate CPU load" From https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/P ... ad/details.

Please let us know how we can add this in Nagios XI.
This is very critical for us.

Thanks.

Are you looking to just add the plugin in XI or are you running into an error? What steps did you take? Are you stuck at a certain point? Please provide more details including any error messages you may be getting.

This plugin also gathers information via snmp which uses udp port 161 by default. Is the remote server up and listening on that port? Are there any firewall rules that may be dropping these packets?

https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf covers managing plugins in XI including how to add them.

We are follow below process.

On Nagios XI-

Configure->Run the Monitoring wizard->SNMP->Fotigate IP->SNMP Community: NagiosTest->SNMP Version:v2->Select SNMP Services->Uptime->Add new template-Check_fotigate_cpu-> Next->Next->Finish

I'm curious about the "Add new template-Check_fotigate_cpu" step. If you simply add the text "Check_fotigate_cpu" as the OID of SNMP service then you will receive the error you're seeing. To add a plugin and configure a service to use it, you will need to follow the steps in https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf.

Of course if the destination is unreachable then it will continue to fail and you'll see messages like "External command error: Timeout: No response from 182.74.168.39:161"
