Hello All,
we are having a license of monitoring unlimited hosts.. and we have configured the VPN IPSec tunnel , and having more than 2000+ host machines, installed VPN IPSEC tunnel through TPLink modems, i am able to monitor only 300 devices , other devices are showing always down..
Kindly guide me if any chances are there to make the other devices to be monitored.

Re: Unable to monitor more than 300 + hosts on VPN IPSEC
Is Nagios trying to ping these hosts?
Can you ping the host from the command line on the Nagios server?

Yes, vice versa ..
Can you ping the host from the command line on the Nagios server?
yes , we can able to reach the host.
Actually, we are using sim card based modems , and using the airtel VPN Network on that. And we have created tunnels for all 1000+ hosts..
Problem is here, if any device or desktop's is connected with the Modem, then only we are able to monitor that modem.. otherwise its showing down..
please help me on this..

What error are you getting in Nagios? I am a bit confused that you can ping the item but Nagios says they are down.
What command is Nagios using to check these items?
Are the VPN tunnels persistent on the Nagios server and available for all users?
