Error 403 on VMware

Post by Njackson »

Hi everyone.

I'm very new to both running a server on VMware and Nagios XI, so i thought i'd write here for some help.

I am currently running nagios XI 5.6.0 on VMware workstation and i am trying to access the web UI from within the server VM. However, whilst I can access the web UI from a browser on my pc, if I try loggin in from a browser (in this case internet explorer) in the Windows server VM, it returns with the below screenshot.

Can anyone suggest why this is happening and a possible fix?

Thanks.

Have you modified the httpd config on the Nagios XI server at all?

Can you try to access it from the Windows VM again, and then run the following from the XI server CLI and show us the output

Code: Select all

tail -20 /var/log/httpd/error_log
