Hi all,
We are running 1 Nagios Fusion v4 and 5 Nagios XI v5.6.2 running on RHEL 7. These are offline installs.
Our trail licenses are going to expire in few days and we are in the process of buying new licenses. By the time we buy the licenses, our existing trail license will be expired. could you please advise what happens after the expiry,
- would the application still be running but wont allow us to access the UI
- could we load new license on our existing 6 Nagios servers post trail license expiry
- As the trail license will be expired by the time we get new licenses, any precautions we could take to avoid the loss of config changes we made on the servers and alarm data
I understand we could request extension of trail license but as we not sure on time frames, not looking to request for trail license extension.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Nagios trail license expiry
Hi @Kandatih,
The license will revert to the free edition and you will be able to monitor the first 7 hosts/nodes created. It will archive objects created during the trial, so you will not lose your data if you purchase a license after the trial expires.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
