Could not authenticate. Invalid token given.
Greetings!
I used the config wizard to integrate between NagiosXI and Nagioslogserver running on same host.
The wizard ran with no issues, I was able to see the queries during the Integration, add them as services, and get it running.
After the wizard ended, the Nagioslogserver and the services were added, but now all the services I added are in Unknown state.
Under the classification of:
Could not authenticate. Invalid token given.
[buffer too small to read octet string (17 < 17)
Did not find 'zeroDotZero' in module SNMPv2-SMI (/usr/share/snmp/mibs/IP-MIB.my)
Did not find 'zeroDotZero' in module SNMPv2-SMI (/usr/share/snmp/mibs/EVENT-MIB.my)
Did not find 'zeroDotZero' in module SNMPv2-SMI (/usr/share/snmp/mibs/DISMAN-SCHEDULE-MIB.txt)]
10xs In Advance.
Your help is appreciated.
Jacob

Re: Could not authenticate. Invalid token given.
Are XI and NLS on installed on the same machine? This isn't a good setup and each solution should be installed on their own servers.
Which wizard did you run? Where are you see these errors? Can you provide screenshots?

Yes, The two services are installed on the same machine.
Is there anyway to migrate the logserver to a second machine without loosing the last logs?
The wizard i ran was the Nagios Log Server wizard.
Screenshots attached
Thanks.

Re: Could not authenticate. Invalid token given.
Install NLS on a new server and then when prompted in the web UI, select the option to Connect to the existing cluster(node).
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... luster.pdf
This will migrate data and configuration to the new node.
You then want to remove the old one:

Will I be loosing the old logs when I install a cluster server?

Re: Could not authenticate. Invalid token given.
What I would recommend would be to Add a new Instance to your existing Log Server Cluster
Then, once you see Admin -> Cluster Status -> Status is green you can turn off elasticsearch on your XI server. Very similar to what @cdienger posted here
