Hi All,

Could you please explain what is the difference between free version of NagiosXI and the licensed NagiosXI and
when these are preferred.

Also for how much time will the free version will last or Can we run for lifetime?
what is the process to get Licensed version?

There is a 60 day trial of unlimited Nagios XI, then you can continue with an unlicensed FREE version for 7 nodes (hosts) or less.

To purchase a licensed version you either do that via our website

Or you can reach out to a sales associate at sales@nagios.com with any licensing questions you may have.

Once license is purchased and it has expired say after two years. Then can Nagios be continued without renewal with same number of host like 1000+ . Please advise.

Yes, that is correct. You simply won't have access to future upgrades.

Thanks. We are in process of migration from one of the monitoring tool to NagiosXI.
If we purchase license, will the setup and installation will be done by someone from Nagios team and will that be covered under the same license (number of hosts + general support)
