I'm not aware of a binary being available anywhere for this. Are you running into a problem with installing it from source?

check_by_ssh or using SNMP to monitor HP-UX is an alternative to using an agent that a lot of people use. Let us know if you have any questions setting either up.

Hi kanagala,

So I see your check result, but what about it is incorrect? Is the space reported not lining up with what df shows on the system?

When the check_disk plugin is just provided with the warning and critical thresholds, it will check the space of all filesystems on the server. They are separated by a semicolon ( ; ), but that is not easily readable. You can specify a file system to check.

Code: Select all

check_disk /u01 -w10% -c 5%
DISK OK - free space: /u01 5529 MB (41.21% inode=80%);| /u01=7887MB;;;0;14047
