Dear All,
We are deploying the NCPA agent to our Windows serer with the command line below
ncpa-2.1.7.exe /S /TOKEN='*************' /IP=0.0.0.0 /port=5693
We noticed that although the ncpa agent seems correctly installed and functions ok, it does not appear in the Installed programs in Windows.
However when installing interactively, this issue does not occur.
Could someone point us to anything we are missing?
Many thanks in advance

Hello,
Which version of Windows Server are you using? I just tested this on a new Windows 10 system and it's working ( showing up in the control panel).
However, there was a similar issue for Windows 2008 R2, see the article below.

Are you installing this as the Administrator user, or are you using another administrative user? I just ran this on my machine as the actual Administrator user, installing 2.1.7, and NCPA shows up in Add/Remove Programs. There's got to be something different about how we're installing it.
Are there any other applications that you install with a silent mode, and if so, are they showing up in Add/Remove Programs?

Re: NCPA silent install on Windows - not in Add remove progr
Actually, it seems that the installer creates the uninstall key (\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall) in HKCU instead of HKLM.
Therefore if you automte the installation with a domain service account, it will not appeat in Addd/Remove program for all users, but only in the context of this service account.
This looks like a bug of the installer. Can anyone confirm?

You are using an old agent. The issue has been fixed in the latest version of NCPA.
