Alert Notifications has to be triggered to different teams.

Hi All,

We are using Nagios XI. We got a new requirement where user is asking that alert notifications has to be triggered to L-3 Teams if it is in Critical and for L-2 teams for both Warning and Critical alerts.

I have created a contact with the permissions mentioned in attachment. And tried to add this contact to one service which is Warning and tried by using Send custom notification.

However, The contact is created to trigger Critical notifications only to L-3 teams but Its not doing that. Its triggering warning notifications also to L-3 Teams.

Please help me on this issue.

Custom notifications go to all the contacts of the service, the only items that are filtered are the actual alert notifications

Hi scottwilkerson,

Thank you so much for the update. I have noticed without custom alert, Actual alerts will be triggered to L-3 teams when they are in Critical.
