Hi Support,
In xi interface, under host management and service management templates, what does marking an option in grey mean?
Does it indicate that notifications are turned on or that they are turned off?
For example:
Under alert settings, for Notification options
When I click on down option and it turns grey, what does it mean?
Does that mean I will get a notification when the host is down
Or
Does that mean I will not get a notification when the host is down?
Similarly when I select the "On" option under "Notifications enabled" what does it mean?
Any help is greatly appreciated as my services/hosts are being monitored, I have greyed out all options under "Notification options" tab assuming that turns on the notification and sends an email when the host goes down.

That's correct. You will receive notifications for the ones selected or highlighted. When I click on down option and it turns grey, what does it mean?
That will enable notification to be sent based on the options selected above.Similarly when I select the "On" option under "Notifications enabled" what does it mean?
