I am trying out Nagios XI to monitor several instances.
I'm using the configuration wizard for linux server, which requests me to install the agent on the client server. (https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... _Agent.pdf)
When the client server is a debian 9, it works like a charm
But when the client server is debian 8, I get some errors which I can't work around. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have also tried with NCPA instead of the regular xi agent, but my nagios monitor (server) was unable to connect to NCPA (port 5666 closed error)
I'm attaching the logfile when trying to install the xi linux agent.

Re: Cant install Nagios Agent on Debian 8 (jessie)
Hi @pavenburg, welcome to the forums!
The Debian Jessie repos have been changed, and that's why they're not reachable now.
https://wiki.debian.org/DebianJessie
Also, if you have NCPA installed, it should be listening on 5693, rather than 5666.
