Upgrade, now cant Access anything... !!!!!

Post by ITTeam »

HELP, I upgraded to 2009R1.2C, a few min ago..... followed the upgrade DOC, no errors, went to the login screen and logged in as nagiosadmin, and clicked the box to complete the upgrade...
Now everything on the home Dashboard says " NSP: Sorry Dave, i cant let you do that"
Tactical Overview comes up.

Get the same message when I click on host or service detail...

HELP, I need to get in .... HELP

Yikes! I just ran the update for the latest development version on my test box and I'm getting the same errors, let me find out what's going on. Did you do the latest development version or the latest stable version?

I looked in my SSH history to make sure I did not get the DEV copy....

I can get into the "core config manager", and admin features, like manage users...

But everything on the home dashboard will not load....

Ok we got it. Hold down the shift key and press the reload button. The browser is still holding old session variables and that's what messing things up.

Well, that was simple... I even opened a new browser, did not think to clear to old cache.

Might be a good thing to add to the upgrade DOC. Just in case...

Thanks for the quick response...

Yeah, we're going to post this in the upgrading DOC and our support wiki. I'm sure it won't be the last time it comes up.

I get:
NSP: Sorry Dave, I can't let you do that

this is the build, from the VMDK file. Upon logon, I get that error. I have tried from many different machines. new broswers, etc. what is this.
