Service checks don't show up in the drop down list?

Post by dginther@mrn.org »

I am evaluating Nagios XI, I have followed the manual install instructions, and everything seems to be functioning. I am on CentOS 5.3. I see that there are plugins loaded, and would like to use check_snmp_load.pl, but it does not show up in the dropdown list when I go into the core config manager and add a service to an existing host. Any ideas?

For the benefit of others - what did you do to solve this issue? Did you create a check command that references the plugins and can be used in service definitions?

Exactly. I looked through the tutorials and saw the one about working with third party plugins... It had the instructions I needed.
