Nagios 4.1.1 Statusmap problem

Hi everyone. Today I tried to upgrade my Nagios Core 4.0.8 to latest 4.1.1.
New version installed successfully, but New Map doesn't work (empty frame). When I click the link "View Status Detail For This Host" the browser (firefox and IE11) tries to open/save file status.cgi

I ran up a test CentOS 5.11 VM x86.

I installed Nagios Core 4.0.8 and confirmed everything worked as expected.

I upgraded to Nagios Core 4.1.1.

I can see the new map fine. Iv'e tried on Windows 8 using Internet Explorer 10.0.9200.17413 and Firefox 38.0.5.

As for the links issue "View Status Detail For This Host" I can confirm there is a bug in the file /usr/local/nagios/share/map-links.html

Instead of:

New map is cool, but it's very sensitive to client-side environment =(
Legacy map is better in this sense.

Thank you for doing all the research on this one. We will poke around at it some today and see what we come up with as well. This is something that is going to have to go to the development team. To be clear, you never had these issues before 4.1.1?

No, I never had these issues befor. I upgraded Nagios many-many times and all times it was plain.

Turns out the view status is known to be broken currently, it is something that is going to need to be fixed. As far as the map not showing it, I have not been able to replicate it, with different browsers, flash enabled/disabled to get something meaningful to the devs. Can you take a screenshot or two of how it looks?

Sorry for slow response. Yes, I can make a few screens, but all screenshoots in all browsers are the same (see statusmap1.jpeg).
