Administrator with limited access

Hello,

I would like to had off some administration tasks to different departments using NagiosXI. However, I don't want every administrator to see the hosts of another department. Also, it would be nice if they can only see the groups they belong in, especially when adding new hosts, so they don't see a long list of contact groups.

Take a look at the following document to see how user permissions work with XI. What you're describing is the default behavior for an advanced user in XI.
