Hi. I am new to nagios. I installed and configured nagios core in rhel 6. There is ftp service running. I started ftp service. However in nagios ftp service is not monitored. Ftp service is running in host system and not remote host. Other services like http, ssh, ping etc are monitored and fine. Plz help me where I went wrong or what additional configuration I have to do?

Can you send us a copy of the service.cfg file of the monitored service? As well as your commands.cfg file section which includes the command being used by that service? Thanks!
