I was delighted to see in the changelogs that since 3.4.0 there is a new configuration option called "service_check_timeout_state".
However, I've been pretty confused when it wasn't documented anywhere!
Only detailed information on how to configure this I found on the nagios-devel mailing list: http://marc.info/?l=nagios-devel&m=126574074724009&w=2
I now wish I would have seen this earlier and not just found it by accident.
I certainly look up the documentation more often than checking past changelogs.
If someone could add this to http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/nagi ... ml#service that would be great.

Can you submit this as a feature request to:
http://tracker.nagios.org
That would help expedite this change as quickly as possible.
