How to write alerts to files in a directoy

Hi all

I recently started to learn and use nagios and my first question is how to write the alerts to files in a directory,
i.e. each alert as a new file in that directory. I have searched the web and this site but I did not find any.

You will need to write what's called an "Event Handler". See http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/ ... dlers.html for more information on that.
