I have NRPE running on a remote linux box and somehow the "rem" process reaches about 40% everytime I add it as a host to my Nagios box.
I have to kill it each time because my service provider starts sending out Warning emails, my network usage was in the megabytes when only rem was running,
Has anyone experienced this before?
If not, is there a quick and definitive way to kill the rem process other than killing the pid. Like completely stop the service?
