[Nagios-devel] configure script work-around

Postby Guest » Wed Apr 17, 2002 6:31 am

Hello all,

Firstly let me say thank you for a great product.

Ok, down to business - I am using Redhat (Rawhide/Development) build and
using iputils-20020124-2(rpm), which contains /bin/ping file.

It seems the latest version of ping doesn't output "round-trip..." but
rather "rtt...".

The configure script would hang at finding ping, but once the egrep's
were corrected (I changed mine to "^rtt"), the script ran fine.

Feel free to contact me if you need further information and thank you
once again.

Best regards,
