I haven't had a chance to go through the code to figure out why this is
happening yet.. But here's the scenario:
Host has escalations, with a final escalation setting the
notification_interval to 0. (this should, and does, stop all future
notifications).
Do a restart of the nagios process (with status retention on), and the
notification_interval that was set with the final notification is no longer
in effect and it defaults to notifying the regular contact at the normal
interval in the host/service definition.
This could be a problem with retention of notify_interval.. I don't know.
I've never looked at status saving code. I'll do it tonight, unless someone
on this list already knows where this problem lies.
