SMTP alerts for Netapp Snapshot copies

Is there a way Nagios can send SMTP alerts for the Netapp FAS6040 version 7.3.3 for when a volume snapshot is complete? I know there is the SNAPSHOT varible but I am not sure what details it pertains too. Thanks!
