I've looked all over but nobody seems to have a fix for this.
nagios sound alerts work fine in firefox however IE8 prompts with: Enter Network Password for each sound alert every time.
I've heard this can be related to the local machine having a time difference of > 1 hour from the server. Our servers all run on UTC but our pc's are set to the local time for wherever they are.
anyone know of any way to stop IE from asking for a login ever time a sound alert is loaded?
Thanks,
Jeff

nagios 3.0.3 sound alerts prompt for password in IE
does anyone know how to get IE8 to stop prompting for "Enter Network Password" when nagios tries to play sound alerts?
I'm running Suse Enterprise Server 11 with nagios 3.0.3 (from rpm).
Firefox doesn't display this problem so I'm pretty sure it's an IE thing, I just can't seem to get it to stop.
