You might want to add performance processing commands to the list
(there's a rarely used codepath in n2rrd, IIRC used only when it needs
to add a new DS to an existing RRD file, which expects to see env vars),
and probably more.
*But*. If people don't make the move while they prepare for an update,
they're somewhat likely to have to do it when the productive Nagios
machine approaches its performance limits, as the savings *are* quite
noticeable. I can vouch that having to fix things over in the *latter*
situation makes for a far *less* enjoyable experience. :-/
