Mail notification for new remote host in Nagios

I configured new remote host to monitor, HOST added successfully but when host down or service down, am not getting mail notification

Note: Am not getting notification only for new host

Do you have your contact assigned to the host? Are the notification options set properly in the configuration file? It might be easiest if you copy your host definition here.
