Windows Service containing "$" not interpreted correctly

Post by Vertisoft »

Hi, and thanks for helping me.

I have a windows server running a service named AOS$01. When using the following command " check_command check_nt!SERVICESTATE!-d SHOWALL -l AOS$01" it show in the web interface "Service AOS CRITICAL 03-29-2010 14:57:43 0d 0h 12m 42s 3/3 AOSsh1$: Not found "

I think that Nagios interprets the "$" in the service name as some sort of wildcard, am I right?
