why nagios not store data in mysql

nagios by default stores data in .dat file
so
why not nagios store data in mysql?
and how can i just enable nagios to store data in mysql directly by not using ndoutils ?

Because that's just not how it was designed.

You can't. You need NDOUtils for this.
