I think it could be so usefull add custom object variables in the houstgroup definition.

Hi,
The same scenarios for a single host but for a several hosts.

Today I had to define the same custom variable for 300 host, all these hosts are in a uniq host group.

This is a situation where a template would be the proper usage. Host and service groups are more for organization than configuration of specific config options.
