We are using this script to check process status of httpd on linux( Centos 5) server. Script is working file on most on the servers.
Except for a few server where it gives timeout error. I have even tried to increase the timeout to 60 seconds but still the issue permits.
All other plugins to check disk space, load average are working absolutely fine.
Moreover, i have checked all the server for iptables and selinux and disabled both.
/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_snmp_process.pl -H [server ip] -C public -n httpd -t 60
ERROR: Alarm signal (Nagios time-out)
If any one can please suggest me the reason and solution for this.
