I need a little help with the checks Nagios carries out.
I have a few web servers, which are password-protected. Nagios polls the login page every 10 seconds or something, and logs in with a predefined account (nagios/nagios for example). This is great... However, our new web server has form-based authentication, so the login is no longer a popup dialogue, but embedded in the page.
The purpose of getting Nagios to check the login is to verify that the web service is up and running. Just to get to the login page is not enough, it needs to log in and then get to a landing page.
I hope this makes sense... Can anybody recommend anything?
