Hi,
I am using EXSi 3.5 server free version, i need to monitor the EXSi server using nagios 3.2.0, Is it possible to moniter the free version using SNMP? I heard to know the ESXi free version wont have SNMP enabled.

I also heard about op5 in which monitoring is possible.

can anyone give me clear idea about this?

It looks as though [1]check_esx3.pl uses [2]VMware::VIRuntime. This may in turn just use SNMP, but I feel with this you can ask VMware if this package will work with your Free Server.
