One Windows server services not recovering but it's up!

Post by ebp12100 »

I have a domain controller running Windows server 2008 R2. Last weekend all services were showing as 'critical' and the server remained online. I've reinstalled the Nagios client for windows, checked my .cfg file for that server, stopped and restarted Nagios. I'm attached a screen shot of what I'm seeing on my console, and wondered if someone has an idea why these services won't recover. My Nagios Core version is 4.1.1 Could this be related with NRPE?

Is Windows Firewall turned on? Port 12489 and port 5666 need to be able to communicate.

It was firewall related. Sorry it took me this long to respond. Thanks again for your help.
