Hi All,

Ive done a lot of googling around this and cant seem to find a solution......

I can access every section of the nagios website apart from the "Service Groups" and any sub links under that - Summary & Grid. I get the following error

What OS is this? I suspect Ubuntu.

I think one of these will fix your problem:

Thanks for the reply

I tried the first command

sed -i 's/SELINUX=enforcing/SELINUX=permissive/g' /etc/selinux/config

Didnt work, says "Cant read /etc/selinux/config : no such file or directory exists

Ive had a look and I have a "Selinux" dir but there is no "Config" dir inside. Only a "SEMANAGE.CONF" file.

Tried the second command, didnt work because i didnt have linux-utils installed so I did that then ran the command and then the other commands underneath.

Still get the same error in Nagios. Im half tempted to re build it as this was working before but I havent changed anything in weeks on the nagios server before this started happening when I went to setup some service groups.

Can you verify the permissions of your etc directory and paste it back to us? ls -l /usr/local/nagios/etc/

I re installed ubuntu and followed these instructions to get it going again!
