A nagios client for monitoring windows hosts: http://www.nsclient.org/nscp/
A nagios client for parsing windows event log: http://www.steveshipway.org/software/

A little bit of information that might help you get you on your way: http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/ ... ndows.html

The main things we have found essential to monitor on each physical windows server is CPU, Memory, Services, Disk space and of course Host alive.
