What operating system is Nagios installed on?

and i make a cron to keep the /usr/local/nagios/var/rw/* files have the 777 privileges as following:
1 * * * * chmod 777 /usr/local/nagios/var/rw/*
when I fresh the web,somethings the error will occurs!
and now i do this operation:
and then error occurs ;
so ,I am so worry about the newest version ..

Usually permissions have to do with how it was initially compiled. What guide did you follow when installing Nagios? It might be better to start fresh and recompile from the start.
