【Help】About monitoring of MySQL

Post by P3_25 »

Hello.

Sorry in clumsy English.

Because I did not know contribution, I contributed it here.

I watch MySQL in Nagios.

It is displayed with "Unknown database 'db_nagiosql_v3'" by status information.
It has been confirmed that MySQL works normally.
Why will it be displayed in this way?

I do not know where I should confirm.

Would you tell me? :?:

I know some people have seen similar issues and installing php-mysql has fixed things for them.

Also, what's the output of mysql -V?

Lastly, no need to apologize for your English. We have forum users from all over the world and all sorts of languages.

Hello.

It is the output of "mysql -V".
⇒mysql Ver 14.12 Distrib 5.0.77, for redhat-linux-gnu (x86_64) using readline 5.1

Is there the necessary information anything else?

Thank you.

Lastly, no need to apologize for your English.
⇒Thank you very much for your advice.
I can't convey what I really want to say in English well.
 Therefore I apologized

Did you install php-mysql? If you tell me the name/version of your OS, I can help you install the right package.

Also, what version of Nagios Core are you using? It should should you on the main page of the web interface.
