Post by ssainz »

Hi,
I have updated Nagios version from 4.0.2 to 4.2.2.
The whole installation was successful, but when I start the service, Nagios not work.
The following message appears on the log:
[1477498640] ndomod: NDOMOD 2.0.0 (02-28-2014) Copyright (c) 2009 Nagios Core Development Team and Community Contributors
[1477498640] ndomod: I've been compiled with support for revision 402 of the internal Nagios object structures, but the Nagios daemon is currently using revision 403. I'm going to unload so I don't cause any problems...
[1477498640] Error: Function nebmodule_init() in module '/usr/local/nagios/bin/ndomod.o' returned an error. Module will be unloaded.
[1477498640] Event broker module '/usr/local/nagios/bin/ndomod.o' deinitialized successfully.
[1477498640] Error: Failed to load module '/usr/local/nagios/bin/ndomod.o'.
[1477498640] Error: Module loading failed. Aborting.

Can you help me, please?
I have installed nagios in Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS.

Thank you very much!!!!!

You will need to either recompile/install your current NDOUtils, or download a new one from https://sourceforge.net/projects/nagios ... utils-2.x/ and do the same.

Consult the README for specific instructions. Also you'll need to restart the daemon after the install is complete.
