after updating nagios from 4.2.2 to 4.2.4 i have a searching problem...
when searching host by ip address nagios show message:
It appears as though you do not have permission to view information for any of the hosts you requested...
If you believe this is an error, check the HTTP server authentication requirements for accessing this CGI
and check the authorization options in your CGI configuration file.
but, when searching host by hostname all is good
from config:
navbar_search_for_addresses=1
navbar_search_for_aliases=1

Re: Nagios 4.2.4
Here's our info on core authentication: https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... iauth.html
Was your core compiled from source or installed from distro repos (I assume source since 4.2.4 but just want to double-check)? On what OS/version is nagios running? cat /etc/*-release may be of use.
That information will help us give you correct file paths for looking at your apache configs, file permissions, and other configs.
