New Hosts have 1 Day of "Undetermined State"

Post by grantdoug »

When I create a new host and immediately check the "host availability" report, it shows 1 day of undetermined state. Is there a way when creating a new host to ensure that there is no undetermined state - that it is either up or down from birth?

initial_state might do the trick. There is also an option in the upper-right of the screenshot to set the assumed state.

Checking the assumed initial state = O for OK still throws an entire day of 'insufficient data' in the report.

When you run the report, you would change the First Assumed Host State to UP and also put in 0 for the Backtracked Archives, that should give you the results you are looking for.
