Upgrade from 4.1.1 to 4.2.4

Post by nexusguy59 »

Hello Guys,

I just did an upgrade from 4.1.1 to 4.2.4 per this link https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ading.html. My server is Ubuntu Server 16.04 w/2 cores and 2 gb of ram the drive is 40 gb and it's on a KVM server w/qemu libvirt

So I did exactly what it said and now i am getting the following 403 error

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /nagios/ on this server.
Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu) Server

I have been searching all morning for a solution and found several not to my particular problem.

If your apache upgraded between 4.1.1 -> 4.2.4 - chances are you may need to modify the nagios.conf in /etc/httpd/conf.d/

Can you please these files for us to look at?

Code: Select all

/var/log/httpd/error_log
/var/log/httpd/ssl_error_log
/var/log/httpd/access_log
/var/log/httpd/ssl_access_log
(path may vary since you're on ubuntu, I think it may be /var/log/apache2/)
