How to upgrade NRPE from 2.15 to 3.0.1

Nagios 4.1
I have NRPE Plugin for Nagios version 2.15

I just downloaded NRPE 3.0.1

What do I need to look out for when I update this?

I have 4 Lixux boxes of different OS's Ubuntu Cent OS Raspberry PI and SUSE

They all have NRPE installed.

Do I have to upgrade them all?

Having an issue with Nagios Event Logs and was suggested that I upgrade NRPE

See this document which should help assuming you installed NRPE from source - https://support.nagios.com/kb/article.p ... ategory=22 - if you installed another way, it could vary.

This is really your decision.

It should be backwards compatible as long as you compile it the same way. Make sure you update your check_nrpe plugin on the Nagios machine as well.
