Nagios 4.2.1 Oracle

Postby lion14 » Fri Feb 17, 2017 3:26 am

Hello all!

I have installed Nagios 4.2.1 on Centos 7. I wan't to monitor Oracle DB. Is there any way to monitor Oracle db with SNMP?
Or should I use NRPE?

Added an image of the db services.

We have this document for XI which helps to explain how to monitor using SNMP - the same concepts apply, but you'd need to create your own checks with the applicable OID's since you do not have wizards. ... g_SNMP.pdf

If you decide to go the NRPE route, see this doc - ... g_NRPE.pdf
