Nagios 4.2.1 Oracle

Post by lion14 »

Hello all!

I have installed Nagios 4.2.1 on Centos 7. I wan't to monitor Oracle DB. Is there any way to monitor Oracle db with SNMP?
Or should I use NRPE?

Added an image of the db services.

We have this document for XI which helps to explain how to monitor using SNMP - the same concepts apply, but you'd need to create your own checks with the applicable OID's since you do not have wizards.

If you decide to go the NRPE route, see this doc - https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... g_NRPE.pdf
