Nagios Core 4.3 - Native remote workers

Post by danjoh »

In the Product Roadmap for Nagios Core we can read
Nagios Core 4.3 is currently scheduled to be released around April of 2017. This will primarily be an enhancement release. Some of the changes projected to be in this release are:
Native remote workers
Is this implemented in (the already released) 4.3.1?
If yes, can you share a link to the documentation for this feature?

Regards,

That project has been pushed back a bit. @bheden was actually busy cloning himself to help prepare Fusion 4 for release:

I don't currently have an updated time on which the remote Core workers will be available.

OK. Then we have to keep using third party tools (mod_gearman) to do distributed monitoring.

Looking forward to a release with native remote workers.

From my point of view, you can close this thread.

Keep up the good work!!!

PS! How can I create a clone of my self like @bheden has? Would be very useful. :D
